Great food and 'guest' beers on tap. Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere too. We went to The Cluny to see 80's Band 'A Flock Of Seagulls'. A great live venue and a hidden gem in the heart of the old industrial Newcastle.
Great little venue, could do with a few bar stools in the gig room for especially mellow artists where there crowd aren't moving! The village green has lots of interesting, historic things to find dotted about too.
Love this bar, amazing selection of ales for everyone's taste and the food is really good. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and lots of room for standing. Staff are all pretty friendly too; This all makes the Cluny my first bar down Ouesburn everytime.
Fantastic quirky pub with great choice of pub food... Highly recommended.
Not only was this an amazing venue for a show. Small and we'll laid out and friendly. But the day after we went back as my hubby lost his shirt at the show ‍. The girl at the bar went above and beyond searching for the infamous blue Lonsdale t shirt. Reply appreciate what an awesome and wonderful bar with such amazing staff!
Great Gig Venue,, well situated near a lot of good bars.
Great venue, very well organised and real ale on the bar. What more do you need? Well as an elderly person with arthritis, a seat or chair would have been very welcome! Sure the last time I was here there were raised steps to sit on at the back. After an hour and a half on my old legs I was really struggling. Good job Lets Eat Grandma were brilliant. Made the agony all very worthwhile. Fifth time I have seen them and they just get better and better.
an independent music venue with real potential but many safety concerns. i attend many concerts and recently attended a sold out concert here and i can say i’ve never felt more unsafe in a crowd and had to get out because i felt like i was going to get crushed or hurt. there is no security or staff watching, no barrier separating the stage and crowd, my tickets weren’t even checked entering and people stumbling in drunk with drinks spilling everywhere. rowdy drunk people were pushing people out the way to be at the front and start mosh pits, meaning people at the very front were being squished against the stage with no safe way to get out.
Great venue, unfortunately the manager and some of the bar staff were really aggressive. My friend requested a song and the dj told her to f off. She complained to the bar staff and they told her that individual was actually the manager so nothing could be done. When it came to end of the night the staff were confrontational, aggressive and abusive. One to avoid if unless you want transcend back to the school playground.⁴
Interesting place, new atmosfer for me, and i open to rock & roll kind of music, honestly watch the band front row is fantastic and i can feel how good their sound system is not even once hurting my ears like when we watch or listening online honestly.lol and i wish i can stay longer if my feet not hurt me. The place full of youngster and old peoples too! I'm amazed! Since usually back in my place bali there is separate locations for each different age visitor to hangingnand enjoy music
