What a great lovely place this is. It is little walk down from monument metro station and from the local bus service but we'll worth the walk down on a lovely day, actually central station metro station is closer. The people were lovely and friendly, the place itself was nice and clean. Has two beer gardens, one out front the other out through the back. If its not a nice day inside to eat is just as nice. The food was lovely and at affordable prices. I will definitely be back and have recommended to my family and friends already. They have accessible entrance but I don't know about accessible toilets. The toilets were nice and clean, up some stairs x
Came today during the day, it was great! We had a view of the river, the food was nice for the price, and the service was quick. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cost-effective place to eat/drink.
Incredible back garden with a great atmosphere and even more on sunny days. Big choice of drinks and food. Very clean and good service.
I fancied a curry, so me and my better half Karen popped in, it's curry Thursday so I decided to go for the vindaloo chicken in naga sauce. Hottest thing I have ever tasted, if u like your curries hot, and I do, get yourself to quayside bar, Karen decided on whitby scampi, chips and peas, smothered in tartare sauce, how she likes it, was delicious she says, the start were brilliant as usual, young man behind bar managed very well on his own and Natalie was as she always is, chatty, polite, friendly and spot on with everything we asked for, nothing is too much for the staff, have a look in, you won't be disappointed.
Like most other spoons around the country, just a different building, however, this one is a cracker. Fashioned from an old cargo warehouse on the banks of the Tyne. My burger and chips went down well washed down with a few pints of 'Shipyard' ale, most enjoyable.
Usual Wetherspoons standard. You know what you're getting when you go to Wetherspoons. Good food and drink at cheap prices. Large breakfast with pint diet Pepsi £8.29. coffee / Tea £1.45 with free refills all day. Can't beat that. Nice location, right on the river side.
Nice pub, right on the riverside. Good outside seating, lots of character inside, comfortable and warm. There was a marquee in a courtyard like area with basic seating, didn't appear to be open during our visit.
The Mrs pancakes were cold this morning at Breaky she wasn't too happy but on the flip side my breakfast was nice... Young bar guy there on the Saturday was lovely to chat to as well so it's getting a 4..
Good quick service. Nice location. Good selection of beers
varied food menu at realistic prices. Breakfast plates look good and free refills on tea/coffee. Outdoor seating back and front available in decent weather. Historic building serving as a bar / eating place. No frills.
