This place is massively underated. The punch bowl serve birria Bella and it was better than I could have expected. I ordered the birria beef taco and the shrimp taco which were both incredible. Personally I preferred the shrimp but would recommend both. Others ordered the beef quesadilla which was a very generous portion for the price. Pork belly bites were unreal too. Can’t fault the food, margs were great as well. Shame there isn’t more outdoor seating though. tacos were gluten free aswell! Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options
Good for birthday drinks and food! Takes American Express, recommend booking of table.Food: 4/5
After a long walk at Jesmond dene, we called into the pub for the first time, and it won't be the last !!! what a lovely place . The food was great. We had the burgers , It is dog and child friendly water and treats for my 4-legged child and bored games books and even a game of cards for us . Would definitely recommendFood: 5/5
Big group of 16 of us today. The food was lovely, the staff were amazing and the atmosphere was so warm, friendly and inviting.Food: 5/5
Me and my friends come to this pub often and we have been customers of Birria Bella for some time now and we love it. However, the terrible attitude of one staff member made me write this negative review. Me and 5 of my friends were having a great time, bar staff were really friendly, we ordered food, beers and margaritas that were really nice. However, one of the girls that was collecting glasses and plates had a terrible attitude throughout the time we were there. When they were closing, bare in mind we were not the last table and we were just having a nice chat, she told us “we are closed now so would be great if you could leave” which we all found extremely rude. There are much better and polite ways to ask customers to leave! Very disappointing.
Decent Bar near the cradlewell bypass. Fairly friendly bar staff and a decent pint, although the prices are quite expensive for the drinks provided. The pub isn't the biggest of venue but provides a decent view of an old bar from the 80s, which is a rarity in these modern times, although it can appear outdated during quiet hours.Service: 4/5
This place has been recommended to me by so many of my friends so I went for this first time this weekend. The food was absolutely brilliant, the best Mexican place I have ever been to. The staff are absolutely lovely, every single staff member I spoke to was helpful and so attentive. My new favourite place to go in Newcastle!Food: 5/5
Great pub. I had a lovely cold pint of Heineken, and shared some nachos with my daughter. Very nice. It's dog friendly and they have some dog beds and blankets to use. They even have a dog menu. Very friendly place and I can't wait to go back.
Nice pub! Staff has been very helpful and friendly; explained all different Beers they Served in details for us as tourist/ business Trip Food was delicious for reasonable price
Fun. The pub is really fun, Everything they do is fun, I’m happy it’s by my house. They have a great drink selection. Fun pub snacks and super impressive food choices. The staff weren’t knowledgeable about what was for sale at the front of the restaurant when I was in the back. Kinda strange because they are connected! I ate there a few times. The food is good, the size is part of the brand image they want to portray. I get it. However, I found it messy. Ordered the chicken dinner one time, by far the best thing I ordered there. Give it a try if you are looking for something different.
