Just had a lovely lunch at the Tyne Bar. The guys are just great. Really friendly and attentive when you need them. Food was delicious and hot. Beer is well kept and safe distancing measures are in place and work brilliantly. We felt very safe. We shall be back.
Busy. Lot of quite young people. Nice atmosphere. Well organised. In one door out the other.
Good stopping-off point after a walk along the river from the city centre. Good choice of beers, interesting decor and nice food.

Great pub. They are taking covid 19 seriously, which is very reassuring. Always good beer on. Quick service for bar meals and lots of outdoor seating.
It's a canny pub. Beer garden is under the arch of a bridge so you don't get rained on and they don't charge daft prices for a pint. Food's not bad either. And they have bacon fries, which are like part of the royal family of snacks.
Great service coffee and bacon buttie
Nice walk along the quayside gets you to the Tyne bar. Softdrinks at a picnic table. Under the sun... All good.
