It's a sponsored so you know what to expect. But 5 stars fir their process re procedure for ordering and paying etc. Very safe and some large spacious rooms.
Service is awful came in for a drink with my young son. Was informed it was table service only due to Covid which was fine. However waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order. As paying by card had to go to bar to pay. It then took a further 30 minutes to receive my pint of beer.
A Wetherspoons pub that I understand used to be the old court house. A popular place that was well managed with regards to social distancing. Had a breakfast and evening meal there, although they didn't have my original choice.
The worst part is timing your climb upstairs to go to the Toilet,Gents is a distance event,to avoid people coming down Toilets were clean with Eco taps and modern soap dispenser,toilet roll dispenser needs some maintenance. Food and Drinks service was fast despite a busy footfall. 15.25 onwards
Great pub with a very quirky interior and good food. Very welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommended.
Worst pub I've visited in the whole of England. The staff haven't got a clue. They are rude and very un friendly. Food is also very poor..... Sort it out. I normally don't mind a wetherspoons but this just isn't working. Sort it out....
Quirky place with previously being a court. Went in a couple times during my trip to the Lakes. Wondering if I should take offence cause I was either seated in the cell or in the prisoners dock, I must have looked guilty. Been to 1 Weatherspoons you've been to them all after that.
Well organised to keep you safe from covid. App easy to use and quick and efficient service. Staff very polite. Main issue, food pretty dry and I think they forgot to put the filling on my pizza, I had BBQ chicken and only had 5 small pieces if chicken on it.
Disappointed today. Very busy and wait longer than usual without being told then the food came burnt. Will still go back to give it another chance though.
