We went early to make sure we got a table as there is no booking system. Service was really good, efficient, helpful and polite. Menu has lots of choice and if what you want is decent pub grub well-cooked, good portions and tasty then this is the place. Covid restrictions were also well adhered to.

Top pub in central Keswick. Really good food, booking probably a good idea for this. Really good portions, perfect after a long day on the hills. Friendly staff and quite up to scratch with covid measures if you are worried about that. Defo worth a visit if you are in town.

As unfussy and efficient as it can be in these frustrating times. Shown to a table. Quick service. Nice pint of Jennings. I hope they don't make the track trace app compulsory. It would put me off!

Food is top quality and properly priced. A breathe of fresh air compared with the pretentiousness of other eateries in the area. Lovely cottage style surroundings and a huge range of pump and bottle drinks.

Food came in massive portions, and was absolutely delicious. Good menu choice, cater for coeliac. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Definitely returning if back in Keswick
