Story

The Chester Grosvenor's Grade II listed building, with its black and white timbered façade, belies the modern elegance of the hotel interior. The hotel has 68 bedrooms and 12 stylish suites, all individually designed and beautifully furnished with the finest fabrics. It is ideally situated in the north-west of England, close to the motorway network, north Wales, Liverpool, Manchester and the Lake District. Manchester International Airport is only 45 minutes by road and Chester railway station is only five minutes by car.

There are two award-winning restaurants, most notably Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, previously named Arkle, which has retained its Michelin star since 1990 and is one of just 26 restaurants in the UK to have been awarded four AA Rosettes.

At the heart of the hotel is the luxury Spa at The Chester Grosvenor offering traditional and holistic treatments. With five treatment rooms, a steam room, herb sauna and relaxation room, the hotel Spa offers a comprehensive list of treatments and Spa packages designed to harmonise body and mind.

An excellent experience! Extremely attentive and polite staff that can't do enough for you, My room was spotless and I was upgraded when I arrived as well as all my rooms requests were granted which is always a great start to a stay at any hotel. The hotel itself is perfectly located and it's just purely beautiful and well kept. Valet parking is handy extra that most city centre hotels can't achieve so I feel it definitely deserves 5*s, I will be returning soon.

There for a friend's wedding and it was beautiful. My girlfriend was taken ill and the staff were amazing and very helpful. Cannot praise them enough

Great hotel.  Even cheapest room is very comfortable and quiet.  Car parking is very handy

This place speaks for itself and so I didn't think I'd of needed to leave a review, however after speaking to the wonderful staff, they informed me that people actually leave poor reviews! Unbelievable as this is top quality, service, location and general upkeep of such a beautiful hotel. 
Not the largest and most luxurious place I've stayed in, but we're talking about Chester and every square footage is precious, heritage land. Fabulous stay, the service we got was amazing attention to detail.

My partner and I went for afternoon tea at the Grosvenor hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, setting lovely and service excellent. Highly recommended
