Miller and Carter Chester to open 9th September 2016. Beef is a labour of love here at Miller & Carter Chester. We will put everything into pursuing the perfect steak, from the field to the butcher's block to the grill, so only the finest, most flavoursome cuts make your plate!

Best steak I've eaten. We got the the butcher block to share (one fillet, one rump and one rib eye) and they were delicious. Beef dipping sauce on the side was immense, really meaty and perfect for the fries. Iceberg lettuce with dressing really simple but great accompanying the rest of the flavours. 

Our waitress (Marcella) was really friendly and helpful. We ordered all our steaks medium but she suggested medium rare for two of them and it was a brilliant decision. 

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant!

Family meal out at beginning of March. We went for the set menu, which was great value.  We really appreciated our waiter, Samuel. Attentive, funny and knowledgeable about the dishes - we were more than happy to take his recommendations. 

Steak perfect - as always. 😀

Great service. The steak burgers were lovely-big & tasty. My Mum ordered the fillet steak which she said was disappointing for the price-it was tough and the portion size was quite small. One tiny wedge of tomato!  Better steak at the harvester-larger portion sizes, perfectly cooked and cheaper!

Had a lovely meal after an eventful day. The food was lovely and our waitress was very helpful and a natural at the job. Wish we'd got her name to give her a mention. Will definitely be going back.

First of all I have to say the service here is great, all staff are happy and helpful. The steak was gorgeous, definitely couldn't fault it. Only a few criticisms, the nachos to start were soft and stale and I really don't understand the half an iceberg lettuce in a bowl covered in sauce, looking around most people didn't eat theirs either so seems a waste when a nice side salad on the plate would do.
