Location is excellent for racecourse,city and shopping and zoo or local attractions. The £12 parking fee per day i feel is a little steep and there is a car park over the road which could be used i think for half that.Rooms were clean and comfortable and a nice size clean bathroom with toiletries . Breakfast included and there was a hot buffet choice as well as cereals ,pastries ,toast and fruit.nStaff were all friendly and helpful. No air con in rooms only fan but the windows were open and we found this to be sufficient even in the warm weather . Would not hesitate to stay here again .
Hotel was nice and very worth it for the price. The staff were all lovely, attentive and even remembered our room number. When we went down for breakfast, they had reserved a table for us with a high chair right next to the food which was very thoughtful and appreciated as we had our baby with us. The rooms are simple and clean. They could maybe do with updating but for the price I was very happy with it. Next time I visit I will probably stay here again.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional friendliness and professionalism of the staff. In particular, Tony and Steven went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and enjoyable. They were welcoming, helpful, and always happy to assist with any questions or requests, which really made the stay feel more personal and relaxed. nnRooms & Comfort nThe rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained. Everything felt fresh and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout.nnOverall Experience nThe combination of friendly, attentive staff and comfortable, clean rooms made this a very enjoyable visit. Tony and Steven’s helpful attitude really stood out and made a lasting impression. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The shower was nice and easy to use. Breakfast had a really good selection of different foods. The only fault was the bacon was overcooked for me, but that's just personal preference. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for two nights. The staff make this place. All the staff, right from the staff on the carpark to the staff who do breakfast are so friendly, polite and helpful. Special shout-out to the man on reception, tall slim and glasses who couldn't do enough for you. Thank you for my veggie sausages.....you are a credit to holiday inn and the epitomy of amazing customer service.nBreakfast fantastic.....lovely bar area, and rooms very comfortable. Only negatives were that the beds were hard and more storage space for clothes would be beneficial. However the hotel was lovely and we will Def return.nWell done holiday inn...in our opinion you are rivaling Premier inn and we enjoy our stays with you.
