Story

Situated on an historic Roman site the Mill Hotel & Spa was opened by its present owners in 1987, The original Griffiths Cornmill building dates from 1830 and great care has been taken to sympathetically incorporate many of the original architectural features during the conversion into a hotel

The Mill Hotel & Spa has been extended in recent years with the impressive south wing, linked to the original via a glass walled bridge over the Shropshire Union Canal.

The Hotel now boasts 132 En-suite Bedrooms, Conferencing Facilities, Free Wi FI Internet, Beauty Spa, Nail Bar, Hair Salon and unrivalled leisure facilities including a Technogym Gymnasium, Kinesis Studio, Pool, Sauna and Steam Room

We stayed for 2 nights and were very impressed. Enjoyed a first class meal in the restaurant, the food being delicious and reasonably priced. All the staff were courteous, attentive and polite. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in a good location straddling the canal. Room was compact (business double) but was very clean and had everything you need. All the staff friendly, dinner and breakfast very nice. Well stocked bar with a decent choice of ales. Stayed several times and always my first choice when visiting Chester.

Average UK hotel. Great stuff and great breakfast. Location is also nice, next to canal... Didn't visited SPA but from outside it looks good too.

Rooms are fine bathroom not so great but clean and tidy.

Lovely place great pool, spa and gym. Food very good nice bar, friendly helpful staff in a beautiful city. Would go again.

Lovely hotel/spa.  Great location. We enjoyed the barge trip from the hotel .  Three hours on the boat with good food and drink. Recommended.
