One night stay at The Mill Hotel as part of a mini break in Chester. Extremely good value for money, as we booked the canal side deluxe room for £105. This was for two people and included a buffet style breakfast and spa facilities. The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of towels, hot water and a working radiator. All essential on a very chilly February evening. The staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and with a good understanding of customer service.nThe location was a huge selling point for us and allowed us to walk into the city centre in about ten minutes.nA well stocked bar awaited us on our return from an evening meal out. Again, reasonably priced.nI would highly recommend The Mill Hotel.nThank You to all the staff for making our stay so lovely.
Great location for the walk into town .whilst the standard room is small it is more than adequate for a two night stay . Bathroom is a little dated with an over the bath shower and curtain . Bed is comfortable and the room is quiet , with wardrobe big enough for our stay . All areas of the hotel are very clean and the staff are friendly. Free parking if you book direct with the hotel , you pay for parking if booked through booking.com. Glad we booked direct as we managed to get an autumn special £120 incl breakfast , we would definitely stay again .nNice place .
Great value trip as booked 2 nights for the price of 1. The staff were lovely and welcoming had booked through their website so got the 2 nights for price of 1 with free parking you book through a third party be aware you pay £12 for parking so better value to book direct. The room we stayed in was 326 across from the main building. The room was large and had everything we needed only down side was the bath that was tiny with scratch your bum bottom really only suitable as a shower. The location is great just a 10 minute walk into the city centre. Had a standard buffet breakfast with fantastic staff
Stayed here for one night with another couple. Location was the best thing with a short walk to centre. Other than that the rest was poor. Rude male bar staff, bath panel hanging off the bath and curtains sagging from curtain rail in main room. Breakfast poor, barely warm missing mushrooms/ black pudding. Pool could do with opening earlier so you can swim before breakfast. Are surrounding hotel could do with clean up to improve first impressions.
Had a lovely 2 night break in mill, room was comfortable, view over canal turned radiator down didn't use spa facilities but looked great. Breakfast was great for us, location brilliant 10mins walk into town, bar area was very comfortable and well priced. All staff were helpful and cheerful.nThanks Paul n Elaine
