Absolutely amazing place! I'd been recommended to go there by a few friends and wasn't sure it would live up to the hype...it surpassed expectation! Beautiful food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Wait times also not too long but it is busy so I'd suggest booking in. Will definitely be coming back!
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Without doubt the best place to eat in Chester. We've been going fir tears and love it. The friendly staff and great service make it a great night out
I’m in Chester for work, so thought I’d try here. Wasn’t expecting much, it’s hard to find a decent Italian restaurant. La Fattoria is excellent. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. The staff are all Italian, and were gracious enough to let me try what little Italian language I know, so thank you for that. As other reviewers have said, you really should book. I was lucky, not long to wait for a table for one, but a party of four who followed me in were told a table wouldn’t be free for another hour. I’m not trying my luck again, so I’ve booked for tomorrow. Although it was busy, it wasn’t that noisy that you could hear yourself talk. Other reviewers have said this is one of the best restaurants in Chester. Seeing how busy it was, and how much other diners were enjoying themselves, I can well believe it. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I enjoyed mine.

Chose this restaurant as visiting Chester for the night and prefer family run places. Wow! What an excellent choice. Luckily, we booked on the Wednesday for Friday. Brilliant food, ambience and staff. Very reasonable prices. Portions excellent. There were a few large groups for Birthday celebrations and the staff make a great fuss of them. Definitely go there when in Chester again.
La Fattoria, ah, what can I say? Simply put, this is the best Italian Restaurant in Chester. La migliore degustazione di cibo italiano nella città di Chester. I had walked past this restaurant many time's, the aroma of Italian food drifting out from the restaurant door always caught my attention, making me hungry, it smelt so good. La Fattoria is a popular place, do book a table, or wait patiently, you will not be disappointed if you do. The Pizza Chef is an expert, who prepares the pizza dough himself, from scratch, this is as close and real as it gets, beautifully pulled into a round Pizza shape, then decorated with the finest of ingredients, absolutely delicious. The main kitchen at La Fattoria, produces fine tasting excellent quality Italian cuisine, I have eaten at every Italian restaurant in Chester City, but the ingredients used at La Fattoria, and the expert chef's and kitchen team consistently produce excellent tasting food, the sheer popularity of this restaurant and the professionalism in how it is run shines out. The waiting on team will guide you to your table, in a confident and professional manner, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and they eat the food themselves, so if you're not sure what to choose, ask any of the waiting staff, who will be glad to recommend a dish or assist you with your choices. And, if you do plan to come to La Fattoria, as a birthday treat, be sure to inform the staff here, they will make your loved one or friend have an extra special experience, guaranteed to make a happy memory that all will keep forever. I highly recommend this fine establishment, in my opinion La Fattoria achieves excellence in great tasting food, prepared with fresh ingredients, and the staff who work at the restaurant, absolutely first class, achieving excellence in friendliness and hospitality. I have personally eaten here dozens of times, each time I have thoroughly enjoyed myself, I have meant to review this fine establishment for some time, but have enjoyed myself so much, I was determined to write this review tonight. Eat at La Fattoria, you must try it!
I've walked past this restaurant a few times on the way to other restaurants and the smell was always mouth watering!I always thought "I wish we were going in there instead"! We went for lunch today and were not disappointed. We luckily got a table straight away. The service was second to none. The food was certainly as good as we hoped, very authentic. Reasonably priced too, we will book for a return visit very soon.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great! The only issue was the quality of customer service which was not the best. At the beginning of the meal we asked for some drinks which came quite quickly. The cordial was not strong enough so we asked for it to be changed and they said they would change it but this was never done. The food was nice and reasonably priced but I have tasted better in other places. Might consider going here again if I visited Chester but wouldn't rush back.
Very busy. So book well in advance. Excellent Pizza Regina. Friendly staff. If staying in Chester. La Frattoria won't disappoint
