I purchased a car a month ago, within days it was apparent there was a major leak at the rear of the car, which meant a pond formed in the boot. I notified Car People straight away who said to bring it back but because I needed a loan car in the interim I would have to wait two weeks when one became available. Three weeks passed with no call so I had no alternative but to get the manufacturer to view on my drive as part of there roadside assistance package for an initial investigation. They noted numerous problems and subsequently booked it into the main dealer. Following this we were told repair works must have been carried out previously and not to the standard required which resulted in the leaks. We were then charged for the investigation works and that it wouldn't come under warranty works due to the poor repair. After numerous phone calls and correspondence car people admitted fault and said we could return the car for a refund. No compensation was offered or related costs covered e.g. the inspection works, fuel, time, temporary insurance & admin fees etc. I also had to wait 3 days after returning the car to get my money back (Not right based on the fact you cant take the car away initially until the money has been taken out??), and also not good if your trying to purchase a replacement car on the same day you hand back!!!! This car was £12.5k, just over a year old, low mileage and with the best part of two years manufacturers warranty still applicable. Poor customer services from start to finish...Avoid!!

First rate from start to finish, cannot fault them at all. Even got my 2nd key sorted, which I pick up on 2/5/18. Thank you very much!

Reasonably relaxed experience, helped by a not too pushy salesman. Test drives are no problem (although they have to come with you)
Plenty of cars on site. Find the cars you like, note down the key numbers then go get a salesperson.
Negotiations were a bit time consuming, lots of salesman speaking to manager and going forwards and backwards, but liked the salesman so let it slide.
Just to update on this. We purchased a car from them as it was best priced in the local area. Collection of the vehicle was seamless. Car was valeted. Took about an hour to complete the handover. Will definitely deal with them again.

I went to The Car People in Warrington shortly after being in a road traffic accident. I was in a lot of pain, sufferring from my injuries and wearing a neck brace. I was determined despite my inability to drive, to find a new car ASAP in order to avoid developing a fear of “getting back on the horse” following the loss of my last car in the accident.
I was seen by Jamie, who was absolutely fantastic! He took me through such a wide range of cars from the showroom and was able to limit it down to a select few based on what I was looking for - which was a Godsend because I was not going to be able to walk around the entire forecourt to look at everything. 
He was so patient with how slow I was walking, took great time at each car with us and he allowed my Dad to test drive a couple on my behalf. He did mot stop smiling all day, despite being stuck with me for about 4 hours!
Thanks to Jamie, I have found a beautiful Nissan Juke that I am so happy with! I could not thank you enough Jamie, you made a stressful and scary day for me an absolute pleasure and I came away with a huge smile on my face and genuinely excited to get back behind the wheel.
On handover day, we were seen by Stew, who was incredibly informative and again so patient with my limitations, showing all of the controls to both me and my Dad who drove the car away on the day. He was so knowledgable and did not stop smiling. The final touch was the manager Rob coming over to see us off and wish me well with my recovery. 
I would strongly recommend anybody to visit the team - especially those mentioned - at The Car People Warrington, my Dad will be back to see you all when his clanger (finally) dies! Thank you all so much!
