Cottrell Motor Co Ltd sets the bar across the board for a perfect customer experience. I had spent weeks carrying out my due diligence when looking for my mid life crisis car. From the moment I reached out with a brief inquiry, Elliott was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the vehicle itself, but in walking me through the entire process. It could not have been more seamless and made the whole process very pleasant. His attention to detail and my satisfaction was unparalleled- going above and beyond in every aspect! Will definitely be using his services in the future!!
I bought a BMW from Cottell Motor Co and it was an excellent experience, all the way through the process. From first seeing the car on the Website and being able to estimate finance payments clearly before you buy. Then when actually viewing the car on-site and looking through all the documentation and records and undertaking a test drive. The delivery was very smooth going through the pre-collection check list with them and then driving the car away. Nothing is too much for them. For after sales I had a few queries about how certain things worked on the car and they explained clearly how all these items worked to me. It was a very professional set up to deal with, I would defiantly recommend if you are looking for a quality prestige used car.
My brother bought a used vauxhall here, after a week he had it safety checked by the AA. Amongst a list of issues mainly the turbo and the suspension it was also found the brake master cylinder was faulty and could fail at any time. The AA mechanic refused to test drive it. The owner could not supply a pre delivery safety check they supposedly had carried out on this vehicle. Beware if you are buying a vehicle from this company and make sure it has had a pre delivery safety check. This could have had serious consequences if this part failed. The owner had told my brother as he drove away the brakes may feel spongy but that was due to slight rust on the discs. Complete oversight on their part and I hope in future that all vehicles are safety checked before they are sold. Full refund was obtained as the vehicle was clearly not fit for purpose.
EXEMPLARY customer service from initial phone call to driving off the forecourt! I bought a Jag XF S last week… the car had been carefully sourced and was presented in fantastic condition with a full dealership service history. What really stood out though was the emphasis on customer satisfaction. Elliott is an absolute pleasure to deal with, courteous, professional and honest. A simple deposit held the car until I was able to view, there was no pressure to buy and plenty of time to view the car at our leisure. He kept in touch throughout the buying process and made the whole thing seem effortless. I would have no hesitation in going back to Cottrell’s again in the future for another vehicle.
Excellent service. I had some preconceptions of car traders, but honestly this was the easiest car purchase I have made. I was left to inspect the car in my own time, no pressure at all. Elliot seems like a real car enthusiast too which was refreshing after dealing with BMW for the last 8 months. I would definitely recommend. Thanks
It was the first time I've bought a car from a car trader and i was slightly worried before going but once I met Elliott them worries went away and it was a very good experience were I felt relaxed. I am very happy with the BMW 1 series it ticked all the boxes for me. I'll definitely recommend Cottrell Motor Co to friends and family because Elliott has some impressive german cars. Thanks Lee.

Bought a Mini Cooper S from Cottrell Motor Co yesterday. We brought in a p/x and I have to say that the experience was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given very fair deal. Bought my bmw 1 series off Elliott over the Christmas period, he was very helpful, friendly and welcoming from the off. He answered every question honestly and with out any hesistation, he kept me informed on how my application and process was getting on! I’d be more than happy to recommend him to anyone!
