I wish to thank all members of the team especially the front of house staff . The front line so to speak They are a vital cog in the management of my lifetime health issue. They never stop constantly doing there upmost to support their patients. There professionalism is second to none . In a world post pandemic and all that extra pressure and overwhelming demand for health care services. The staff members always get us the medical information care appointments we need . A truly wonderful surgery with staff that are of a high standards and compassion. Oh and the doctors are no bad as well Many thanks to a outstanding processional team
I have been with this surgery for over 12 years. In this time I have seen a lot of changes here and changes of staff. I have always found the doctors here very approachable, welcoming and understanding including locum's. I have not had much dealings with nurse's, so not in a position to comment on them.The reception team have changed a few times with one or two who remained the same, this is where this practice falls down. Some are excellent whilst other's are either not good at their job or not happy in it. Either way some work needs to be done in the reception team. They are the of the practice and sadly let this otherwise great practice down.
My husband and I have been with this practice for over 20yrs. We have seen some staff changes but most have been consistent. At no point did we ever feel we did not receive the best care from any member of the team, doctors and nurses. I have an auto-immune condition plus other issues and even through covid we felt listened to and treated. Yes the reception staff are the frontline and have to decide who can and can't be seen. It's not an easy job but they are always professional. We never phone unless we have to. I cant recommend the Broomhill Practice enough.
Recently moved to the area, registered with the BP. During my time with them, the receptionist where great but the Doctor and nurse that I had dealt with. I fealt where not interested in my views or opinion, more interested in there box ticking exercise and dictating to me what needs to happen. Even thow you know about your condition better than they do. And they never had my medical files from my previous GP.
The doctors are lovely and very helpful! They explain my conditions very well. I always get a fast response whenever I reach out to the practice and they give me best medications and consultations accordingly.
I don't recommend it to anyone. Start from the reception. the woman wanted to send me without a prescription because she just didn’t want to see if there was one. and when the doctor showed her where it was, she threw it at me without even apologizing. and this is not the only case. My family and I have never received help! The doctor asks - what do you think is wrong with you? This is fine? it's a pity
Despite the bad reviews people have posted I've found this doctors practice to be very practical and friendly! Found it easy to get phone appointments and an in person appointment when needed. My doctor was really lovely and I am very happy with my service and care! Thanks everyone
The doctors have always been helpful and kind however the reception staff are not so consistent. I phoned to ask if a Dr had left a letter for me, without checking the receptionist said no and to phone later. I phoned back later in the morning and got someone else, they checked and the letter had been at reception for 24 hours. Not sure if its laziness or negligence but it wastes patients time and creates more work for their colleagues
Very friendly, approachable and kind staff, doctors and reception team. One of the only clinics who make a huge effort to see you that day, or as soon as possible. Never had a bad experience!
Three time tried to call the practice, no answer , went there just drinking coffee , they laughing at patients. This people shouldn't be working there. Don't try to phone the practice they don't answer , they found way to ignore patients , just go directly there ,you won't see anyone work or any patients in waiting room . I have visited medical centers once or twice a year since 2014 , they all say we are extremely busy but when you go there there is no one not a single person in waiting room to see doctor . It's failure ,because there is no questions and no inspection .
