Positive Feedback I would just like to record my thanks for the incredible service I receive from Williamwood practice. Sadly with some of my underlying health conditions I have experienced every area of service within Williamwood from the District Nursing team, Doctors, surgery Nurses and as important the exceptional Reception Team. I could easily feel quite embarrassed attending the surgery so much due to my immune system and related illnesses but I am never made feel like a burden to the team. At all levels they are kind, supportive, understanding, extremely professional but also have a laugh and a joke which I find puts me at ease. Lastly I have an incurable condition which was extremely traumatic especially the way I was informed about it from hospital consultants but again the warmth and compassion from the Williamwood team has been so important to me. When people are complaining about the NHS, I only have praise for this team. Regards RB
My 8.30am phone call resulted in a 10.00am appointment- terrific. Reception was very friendly and the doctor whom I had not met previously was very helpful and efficient explaining her diagnosis in layman's language so I could understand. Very happy.
I have been with the practice for a year now and have always had a great experience. The online form is brilliant for me as a busy professional and I have had my medical needs addressed in a professional manner by the staff and doctors. Innovative system in these changing and difficult times for the NHS !
MY husband said Dr Ramani fabulous today . Many thanks for being so proactive Dr Ramani you were fabulous with ThomasGallagher as was practice Nurse and Physio absolutely fabulous. Thanks to Michelle at reception such an empathetic personable lovely woman
Not the first time I have had awful treatment at this practice. Latest is that I have waited 2.5 weeks for appointment and now had it cancelled 20 minutes before and rescheduled to 3 weeks time so in total it’s. a 5.5 week wait for an appointment. Sometimes for kids it’s also over a week. Receptionist treats you like it’s no big deal and often as if it’s your fault.
Called at 8am, got through at 8.15am, spoke to doctor at 8.45am and had my prescription at 9am. Couldn't ask for better. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful.
Poor performance, staff need training.very poor doctors surgery, where you don't get full explanation of results and doctors don't seem to care. Won't or can't refer patients. Seems to be where the lowest grade of doctors get job.
Just received another message telling me not to contact the practice as to busy , They have been hiding from patients for 3 years, It's no wonder the practice was ranked 800th of 870 , I can hardly believe there are 70 worse than this place.
Used to be a good practice but has seriously gone downhill in past few years, with the last decent GP retiring earlier this year. Rude and inefficient reception staff with the odd exception and GPs who are either more interested in developing their private practice, inexperienced or just not very competent... After over 20 years with Williamwood practice my family has now moved to a practice across the road in the health centre, which has been highly recommended. Already noticed a massive difference in the standard of patient care provided there.
My child recently had severe pain and some nippy sweetie at the desk told us we can get an appointment in 2 weeks by phone. This is low, even for a rubbish place like this. The thing that really annoys me is that they treat you like it's your fault. Dr. Pexton was excellent but has unfortunately retired wish him all the best and that was the last straw. Changed doctors so I'll never have to deal with the useless GPs or the dragons at the desk.
