On Nov 9, 2022, our friends living nearby hosted a dinner for my wife, our younger daughter and I here. While the Inn had its ambience, the food we ordered weren’t impressive. While our host paid the bill, we didn’t think it was value for money. But it might be the best for residents living nearby.
My partner and I found this Lovely pub while out and about visiting some of the local villages. Interior full of beams and character, we had lunch which was sublime. Met and chatted with one of the locals, it turned out though he lived locally he spent 25 years working for the Fire and Rescue Service in the county we live in, such a small world. If you are in the area pop in, you will not be disappointed!!!!!!
My wife said the prawn sandwich was the best she has had. They did not scrimp at all. My step son and I had the sausage ciabatta with caramelised onions on he special board and they were gorgeous. Definitely going for an evening meal. Great service and a smashing place to eat
Amazing food. Working down Alcester and called in by chance. The food and service was 10/10, and we was only expecting pub grub!
Nice pub with friendly staff. I had gammon and egg with chips, my wife had steak both were very nice, we couldn't fault the service as the waitress was very friendly and attentive.
One of the best Sunday roasts we've had. Friendly and attentive staff. Only criticism would be that the " naughty corner" table is a bit small.
5 adults and 4 children in the party for a family birthday meal. Nice choice of meals for the adults and children's menu also available. Staff very friendly and accommodating together with providing good service. Meals all arrived together so everyone happy. Food was well presented, cooked well nice and hot. We only had starters and mains which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. We don't live locally but would definitely use this venue again if round this way.
Parked here to complete a 3 mile walk we found in an AA guide book. After a lovely walk we called in for lunch. We had not booked and were a bit concerned because the car park had filled up during our walk. We need not have worried we received a warm welcome and we’re quickly seated in a lovely garden. They have a good varied menu with choices for every taste. You can see from the pictures that the food was well presented but you can not see just how delicious it was. My smoked salmon and prawn dish was accompanied by one of the best mixed salads I have ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The staff were very busy keeping all the customers satisfied and also maintaining Covid safe cleanliness. The food and service were both excellent and we are very glad that we chose to eat here.
A nice village pub. I sat in the garden with my dog that was very nicely laid out. A good pint of beer but not the cheapest. I didn't have any food but a lot of people around me were eating. Only 4 stars because of the beer price.
Excellent food, drink and service. Left feeling that we’d had first class value. Pub was very busy, unsurprisingly, but service was nonetheless brilliant and cheerful.
