The staff were amazing and freindly. Cant do enough for guests. We stayed in a beautiful suite with a four poster bed and spa bath. Everything was spoltlessly clean and i will definitely be booking there again. Its absolutley the favorite place i have ever stayed. 5 stars is not enough. 10/10Rooms: 5/5
The cafe is a great addition to the pub. Service was quick and staff are really nice. The atmosphere is cosy with lots of laughter and friendly banter with other diners. Coffee and food is delicious.
Moored up on the canal and walked in for a drink. Beer selection was ok, Landlord was friendly. The pub interior was nice. We sat outside and didn't have any food. RecommendService: 5/5
Stayed here last night for night ,as my partner were going on a ghost seance ,that was amazing ,but if you like anything paranormal, then this place is very very very very active ,we caught several spirits on camera ,n we even had a evil spirt tell us to go away ,plus another one laughing n shouting .Rob and wife were amazing ,friendly,,n had a gud laugh ,the rooms were lovely ,but furnished to match the age of the place . Keep up the gud work ,n we will come back to another watch .Jo and Jamie.
We stayed for DogFest with two dogs. The rooms were nice and clean, spacious with everything you will need. The owners are really friendly, helpful, welcoming and chatty and very attentive with the dogs, fussing them. The pub is also beautiful with a good selection of drinks, traditional feeling and the locals are very welcoming and nice. Highly recommend!!!
Booked two rooms for a family of five. Rooms were spot on and service off owners was second to none. Would reccomend and we'll stay again.Rooms: 5/5
Unwelcoming to tourists, far too busy talking to the 'locals' to engage with us. Signs outside said food available, barman quite rude when he told us no food.Rooms: 2/5
Absolutely dire. This place will be closed in months. The sign outside says Great Food and Open All Day. Neither are true. It doesn't open until 4pm and the kitchen has been shut down. The owner is a miserable rude Londoner who would rather drink away his profits with the locals, rather than look after viaitors. As this is now the only pub in Wilmcote, it's a very sad state of affairs. Shut it down matey and give someone a chance to turn this into a nice pub once again. Until then I will never be back.
Room spotlessly clean. I suppose furniture was dated but that didnt detract anything from the stay. Beer was nice and reasonably priced. The bar is of a good standard whilst still maintaining its old character. The staff there are both very helpful and attentive. I spent some time in the bar as a single traveler and the other customers made me feel very welcome , which made my stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay here. Am in fact arranging another stay with them.
It's our local so I can't comment on rooms but breakfast is to die for.. not a cheap breakfast, damn worth it though. I can't move after, being local we walk from our place. You need it afterwards.. phew Nearby activities: Wilmcote was the home of Mary Arden hundreds of years ago, now. It's ours.. Walkability: Loads to walk about canals, country roads
