We visited as a family for Sunday lunch. Wide range of food to choose from.Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Food was fresh and tasty. Would recommend to book a table, was busy on Sunday afternoon.
Honestly if I could give these guys 10 stars I would. We absolutely loved our meals and the experience of being at the pub in one of our favourite TV programmes. The staff were so helpful and being dog friendly meant our 4 legged friends enjoyed themselves too : There were dog treats and toys, bowls of water and a warm welcome It really meant so much. We had the half a chicken and the steak and ale pies one with mash and one with chips Everything was so tasty and cooked just right. It really made our anniversary extra special. : Would definitely recommend it.
Great pub with a fantastic history of stars dropping in for a drink or something to eat after a Shakespearen performance at the theatre. So many famous stars signed photos on the walls inside! Great atmosphere
We stopped in for a pint and lunch. The food and beer were excellent and the outside patio was a nice spot to relax and watch a bit of the local scenery and the river. The baked camembert is to die for and everyone should order this to pair with any meal
Had a great family meal here on a Friday afternoon. Food was great and the staff were friendly. The dog was also allowed in.
Excellent food and great atmosphere. I highly recommend checking out the Dirty Duck if you're in Stratford
Dinner was borderline inedible. The beef pie was tasty but the potatoes and vegetables should have been an embarrassment. There are better and more charming places to enjoy dinner
Very much enjoyed the pork belly and 1/2 roasted chicken dishes. And the mulled wine was nice on that dreary day.
Lovely atmosphere in this superb pub. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We only had drinks so unable to comment on the food but meals coming out looked huge and very appetising. The 'Actors bar' is adorned with black and white photographs. Well worth a visit
Food was quite bland and not great portions, the pub was freezing cold and the phone didn’t stop ringing and no one answering it which was annoying, toilets were in a poor state of repair.. Not great I’m afraid
