Really cool place. Really cool to look around inside. Had sone food and an ale. Must say not my favorite fish but the chips were great. Staff was really nice and service was good. Really cool to have pint in the oldest thatched pub. Well worth the experience.
Wow! Unbelievably delicious fish and chips. Light and crispy batter, yummy mushy peas and delicious tartar sauce. Beautiful atmosphere as well. Loved the decor! So happy we stopped here.
Such a beautiful old pub with lots of history, the staff are very friendly and we met a lovely local man who was full of knowledge about Stratford. We ended up booking a table for the evening and were not disappointed, the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend a visit

Delicious! Best food we have had in our 2 week trip !! Wonderful old pub. I was too hungry to take a picture of the food. Get the chicken and mushroom pie. You can’t go wrong
Had a weekend in Stratford upon avon and decided to have lunch here. All I can say is wow. We had the Beef Sunday roast and it was beautiful, the best Sunday roast I've ever had in a restaurant. I highly recommend you check it out.
Apparently the oldest pub in SOA and right in the centre. Half timbered, quaint and welcoming. Serves excellent well prepared food and Fullers ales HSB was perfect. Reasonably priced with good sized food portions .
good place to grab a pint, not quite sure id recommend the grub. out of fish n chips and pies rhe day went. bun in our burgers was toasted to a diamond hardness
The history, the vibe, it speaks for itself, the least said the better. It won't be everyone's cup of tea which is fine. Well played to the west London Fuller brewery supply crew, a superb run and return.
Lovely old pub, great atmosphere, friendly service and although we didn't eat, the food that was ordered looked delicious.
