Popped up for a quick lunch for one and can't complain about anything. Ordered on the app, my drink arrived with about 3 minutes, my food arrived with 10 minutes. Decent burger and over a pint of BrewDog beer cost me £11.20. Value for money is grear, especially in Stratford upon Avon. Thanks Wetherspoons x
Pretty small for a spoons pub but its more or less center of Stratford.. food setved quickly and lots of seating nice tudor buildings to look at whilst having a beer..
As staff and customer, I am glad to say this specific place is fantastic, all friendly and responsible staff, customers always have a big smile! Don’t be fooled by the description though, palm trees and rooftop is not as of right now lol there. Still a great spot for a quick meal, tasty food, great drink selection. Coffee is pay for one and refill as you wish, so can’t go wrong! As mentioned, I have been staffed here and the team are always on their best attitude and intentions mainly due to the extensive training, oh and of course, how friendly they all are. If you come in on any day, don’t be surprised with 5 Star treatment and friend-like service. Everyone is a mate here.
A lovely location. We enjoyed a really tasty meal for incredible value for money. Would certainly recommend. Can't imagine anywhere else offering a top quality pint of bitter for under £2.
I recently visited The Golden Bee, a JD Wetherspoon pub, and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, service, and local beer selection. The pub has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable seating and a warm color palette. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met and offering recommendations on the local beers.
A nice bar, I had good food and a nice drink. We ordered.via the app when we sat down and the food and drink was served very quickly. Excellent service. Be all and end all it's a Wetherspoons you know what to expect.
My wife and I ate there and I had beef curry with nan bread and poppadoms. My wife had the same which was excellent and refillable hot chocolate was fabulous. The problem was I saked for Ice cream and chocolate sauce and I had to go to the bar twice to remind them even though it was on the preparation screen took 20 minutes to arrive.
Mixed feelings about our visit today. Fish and chips were lovely. Steak pudding was not very good and small. Curry was nice but naan bread was dry and hard. Burger was a bit overcooked. Staff were helpful and attentive, and replaced the naan bread when we complained.
Ordered 2 × Empire State burgers and a kids meal. No pizza on menu like other spoons and fish and chips out of stock. Food took 50 minutes to arrive burger was nice, portion of chips tiny I honestly had about 9 chips.
