Lovely English Pub! The food, the drinks, and the atmosphere are all first class. The parking lot was full on a Sunday eve for reason: Bell pub is a wonderful pub experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the drinks are all first class. Our party ordered the Grilled Pineapple & Chili Chicken Thighs, Beef & Ale Pie, and their Fish & Chips. Even our finicky eaters were pleased.
Very busy on Saturday during lunchtime. Walking distance from Ann Hathaway cottage. Had a brief stop there for a coffe and cake. Bargain price of £3.49. Parking not big enough so at busy period you may struggle to find a place to park your car.
Had the most amazing Sunday lunch here today. A party of 9 ladies. Everyone was helpful and polite and the food was absolutely gorgeous. My lamb shank melted in the mouth Thanks to Max for serving us so well. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
The Sunday dinner was amazing !! Honestly, I've had many Sunday dinners and this was far the best I've ever had. We had the lamb shank with crumble for dessert. Highly recommended. Friendly staff. Clean. Good parking with good prices

On behalf of my wife and myself we would like to say a big thank you for the meal we had on Tuesday evening. The pub is really nice and the staff were all very friendly. We had a lovely meal followed by a pudding and at no time did we feel rushed to leave. We would definitely recommend this pub.
Visited without a booking and were found a table right away. The service was great, we initially only stopped for a drink however on seeing other peoples meals decided to stop longer for lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, great value. A very worthwhile stop between the city centre and Anne Hathaways cottage
Went in for a Sunday evening meal while passing through. Very nice pub in an old village setting. Staff and food were excellent and at very reasonable prices. I wish my local was like this place.
Stumbled upon this place while exploring on a mini break. Typical Greene King style menu, food was cooked and presented well. All the staff were polite and chatty and very welcoming, without being overbearing. We felt at home and relaxed immediately. Would definitely come back if ever in the area again. Treated ourselves to a sharing dessert platter..WOW! Don't think we'll eat for a week now!!
Christmas day Lunch 2022. 0ne word Superb! Food quality, service, atmosphere all excellent. No baby roast potatoes, but boiled were fine! Well done. Gaye & John Arnold
