Reviews
Not many pubs have retained the amount of character that the Bell has. The staff and the landlady are welcoming, and the real ale good. We had some rolls which were good but a little odd - imagine a huge wedge of cheese with a pot of raw onions and a bap.
Oh, and the gents are a thing of wonderment. Not for the faint hearted.

Lovely old-fashioned small pub, great stop on a winter walk today and very accommodating and friendly place given 13 of us. Great local ale too!

Our first visit to this pub . We had some really well kept ales including a really nice pint of mild. Menu is small but we had ploughmans which really were excellent and not expensive. Some really nice walks around the village. Go to the church and check out the Yew Tree growing there.. Dogs welcome in pub too. Will definitely return soon we hope. Thank you to the owners, staff and our friends for a very pleasant Sunday afternoon.
