The Pheasant is a classic British inn providing excellent accommodation and superb food and drink. Located just 400 yards from the M4 and halfway between London and Wales it is the perfect place to stop off for a bite to eat and a break. It is also halfway between the towns of Hungerford and Lambourn offering a great destination venue for a superb lunch or dinner with family, friends or work colleagues.

This is a lovely country pub with a strong connection to the local horse racing fraternity, many of whom call in, helping the already warm atmosphere. The food's very good. I can particularly recommend the Sunday menu's whole roast chicken to share, which is fantastic value, and easily enough for two people with healthy appetites :-)

Absolutely Stunning Hotel bar and Restaurant. Staff are always everso friendly and helpful. Assistant Manager Danielle, Goes out of her way to make sure your stay or visit is Fantastic.

Beautiful pub with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Menu is varied and the food is great. If you are into racing this is a must visit. One of the best pubs in the area.

Ďespite not being in a town/village, car park and pub were almost full. Always receive a friendly welcome from staff. On this occasion enjoyed chatting to Welsh supporters en route home

We stayed for New Year's eve and had a brilliant time. All the staff were incredibly friendly, the bed was so comfortable and the food was delicious. The rooms really are a bargain especially as the the breakfast was excellent. The bar is extremely cosy and the perfect pace to settle into a few pints.
