Handy Location, just off the main route.nLovely period hotel..nStopped mid afternoon, quite empty at the time, a large place, with a lovely dining area.. and didn’t think the kitchen was open, but the Barman greeted us and offered us a menu..nWe ordered our food and sat relaxed in leather armchairs while our meal was prepared.nThe food arrived, Fish and Chips , Beef Burger and chips, presented well, looked great and tasted even better, mmmm.nGood value for money..nHave added to a favourite location and will have no hesitation but to call again, for a meal, when travelling in that area..nThoroughly recommend the place..nx The Bigfella x
Stopped here in our Motorhome for the night on the way to Ilse of Wight next day. Very friendly helpful staff. Definitely come again if we’re travelling south. Very easy to get on and off the 34. Nice start to our holiday.
A warm reception at this restaurant/bar/hotel based in a small village. The outdoor space could benefit from a tidy up. People are very friendly and accommodating here. I didn’t stay at the hotel just drinks and food.
The staff were so lovely and friendly, particularly the owner. The food was incredible and the bedroom was spacious and clean. Would recommend to friends and family. Many thanks xx
Broke down just up the road. Very hospitable landlord, grabbed a good pint, used toilets and let me stay overnight in car park until rescue truck arrived. Lovely pubnThank you!
