Nice friendly hotel. Very dog friendly and walks nearby but beware the sheep. I almost let my jackauaua go into a field full of sheep with lambs without a lead. I couldn't see them til right at the gate. Learning curve for me!

Staff are excellent,food is good,dog friendly. However Hotel is dated & in need of total refurbishment rooms are tired carpets are worn & some windows the glazing panes are cracked. On site off road parking available.

We had a short stay at the Baskerville over the weekend. The accomodation is fairly basic but it works well if you just want somewhere to rest while visiting the area. I wouldn't pay any more than £80ish for a room though. Actual pub is pleasant and food was good. Recommend a visit.
