Best literary festival on Planet Earth! Even if you aren't going to pay to see anything this has lots to offer for free. If you are anywhere near then DO NOT MISS THIS. There are even free left tickets for talks and events please leave a charity donation. Great for kids and families. Wet or dry, £5 parking all day or park and walk. Food and drinks are pricey but nothing to stop you bringing your own. Alert celebs everywhere!
A friendly, hard left, bubble of a festival. Lots of inspiring talks and fun events to go to. Loads of things for kids to do. Good food, great atmosphere.
Great guests giving terrific talks. It's worth navigating the middle class elbows to catch these events.

Don't bring the dog as you won't be let in , unlike the town which is very dog friendly
