I use Tangs as their delivery is good and the food is usually well cooked. However yesterday my duck in plum sauce arrived with no plum sauce and a pretty meagre portion. I emailed them and have had no response. This is the second time I’ve felt the need to comment on their food and it seems the customer service also leaves a lot to be desired. Time for a change.
WOW you really need to try this just so you know I am not lying, I am 57 and this is BY FAR the Worst Chinese food I have ever TRIED to Eat in my Life, the fried rice is NOT fried, it is plain white rice, no Soy or it wouldn't be Plain White with a bit of egg in it, my leather work boots would of been easier to chew than their BEEF and sweet and sour Ribs? well god knows what that flavour is but it Certainly IS NOT sweet and sour, you could Easily ring the grease out of the Prawn Toast, you have to try it to see just HOW BAD it really is but please believe me when I say that it will be the one and only time you try it because if you do like Chinese food then you will see it bares NO RESEMBLANCE to any Chinese food you have ever tasted in your life, I tried giving it to my Dog and even he would only Eat the Ribs,,, AVOID!
3rd order last night. Enjoyed every meal and very happy to say this Chinese has gluten free options. Thank you - it's rare and much appreciated. Worth the ten minute drive to collect.Food: 5/5
I've been going to tangs since I was 14, that's 10 years! Never have they tried to rob me on a simple order the way they did the other day. I live local and only one in my family who eats Chinese. Sometimes I order a 3in1 to collect, on the menu clearly states £4.80. When ordering over phone she proceeds to say £7.80, I go to collect and again she says £7.80 so I ask for the menu and show her 3in1 is £4.80, to which she THEN decides to ask me for £4.80. It's petty but if you're a big family and they decide to add on £3 to everything you order! It's robbery, always check menu prices on arrival and calculate before paying!!

I don’t know what has happened would always order from here, curry sauce like water chips tripled fried and had a funny smell I asked for egg fried rice and received boiled. Never again all went in the bin

We’ve been loyal to tangs for over 3 years now and I am amazed at how disgusting the service has been for the past few months now! We have received the wrong food twice in the past few months and when we call them they have not issued a refund or sent us the right food; instead try and charge us more to get the food we ordered. I feel robbed and will no longer be ordering from them! They care more about the profit in their pockets than actually delivering a standard service. You would think after over 3 years of ordering from there they would at least make an exception; not that an exception should be needed when being delivered the wrong food!
Ordered salt and pepper chicken was so dry I could not eat it and when I rang up they told me the chicken is ok so I will not be ordering again
Worst Chinese takeaway that I have ever had. Food was cold and tasteless and chips where cremated. I would not advise getting a takeaway from hereFood: 1/5
