What should have been a positive experience turned out not be enjoyable. The onion rings were cold as were the fries. We did complain about the 16 oz steak which looked like 10 oz but were assured the steak was 16 oz. We order five dessert and only got four. The food arrived late for both the mains and dessert we bypassed the starters - just as well. However on a positive note the manager did give us a £44 discount took of the service charge, two waters and dessert. Overall poor food and definitely poor service. This is not something I expected from this chain of restaurants. Parking: Use either NCP or street parking ringo parking app or the machine
Presentation of the afternoon tea was lovely. The male member of staff who served us what very pleasant and helpful. Some of the cake was stale and it transpires was delivered frozen and not made fresh on site, which was a disappointment. Other members of staff were cold and unhelpful.Food: 3/5
Was looking for nice brunch places during my visit to Notts and this came up. The breakfast brunch menu was different to what you usually get from brunch cafes. I had steak and eggs and it was perfectly cooked. I also ordered beetroot hash browns and now I am in love with them and will probably add on everywhere I go. Oh and the wildflower tea!!! Service was quick despite being busy and polite staff. Would definitely recommend for a hearty breakfast.
We went for the Sunday roast. It was one of the best Sunday roasts I've had in a long time, and the portions are quite big, so got our moneys worth! I had the crumble for dessert, which just finished off a lovely meal! The atmosphere is calming and relaxed but has a nice touch of luxury to it, and our waitress was amazing, had a great sense of humour, and was very polite and welcoming. Would certainly go back again for a roast!
I had high hopes but felt a bit let down. Nice ambience - good for a date or having a work meeting Standard food - tomatoes were great, bread was burnt. Nothing special. Ok service - server was great, but overall service experience drops due to lack of servers. It doesn’t seem like the managers help out at all. Strange: they told me I couldn’t take a video walk through of their establishment for this review, even though 80% of the restaurant was empty. TL;DR : Good date night place, not worth driving 45 min like the other reviewer commented.
Great - friendly, warm service. Surf and turf meal was fab. Mocktails very tasty. Improve - I sat alone for 20 mins while waiting for my friend to arrive. I wasn’t offered a drink order, and couldn’t get anyone’s attention they were too busy setting tables and never looked up. Cocktail orders took too long. Gnocchi main was too small for a main. Broccoli side was poor value in amount for the price.

Lovely ambience and friendly staff. We were seated within 15 minutes as walk ins and had a very tasty 2 course lunch. Could you tell me if the black seeds on the duck and watermelon salad were Nigella or black sesame seeds please? I forgot to ask the waiter!Food: 5/5
Sublime food, lovely decor, and impeccable service from Mya last night. My only criticism is the music was a tad loud and the fan could have been turned down. I forgot to photograph our desserts but the crumble and stem ginger ice cream was delectable .
