Had booked lunch for my friend's 60th. Person serving was not customer focussed and appeared passive aggressive. He made a song and dance about my requesting wholemeal sourdough, stating it wasn't wholemeal but "sourdough", and kept repeating it was "sourdough", like it was something special. Was taken back by his attitude - it was rude! I googled this issue and, yes, you can have wholemeal sourdough!! The mushroom soup starter was beautiful and my friend enjoyed her starter and main. However my main dish was made to suit my dietary requirement and it was the worst food I've eaten. A tablespoon of tasteless lentils and tempah greens. The overall flavour was fried. Very disappointed. The waiter had come over and asked my friend about her food and before I could tell him about mine, he turned his back and gone but later 'reprimanded' me for not speaking out sooner. The side order of triple cooked chips left a lot to be desired too. Crispy, oily but no potato left in them. Decided not to order a dessert Fine dining it certainly wasn't. Very disappointing!
Went for Sunday dinner, will start review by saying dinner was lovely and carrots to die for. Service dull and un attentive and lack of feeling welcome. Tiny piece of bread given before meal, asked for horseradish and was told it was in the Yorkshire I still asked if I could have some and never came. It was more of a hollandaise in the Yorkshire so not proper horseradish and bottled beer was around £10. Don't mind paying extra forngood food but don't take the p**s with drink prices. Wouldn't recommend.
Celebrated our 18 year anniversary with a garden room and breakfast at Harts. It was delightful! Our first visit but definitely not the last, service, facilities and food all top notch. Rooms: 5/5
Pretty new, very clean and spacious, big and comfortable bed, good location as we where able to walk anywhere in the city. Parking is available on-site for a charge. Would recommend!Rooms: 5/5
Everyone at this hotel was so nice and helpful! We'd been in a car accident and so my mother in law booked here as they're dog friendly knowing how long a&e can take and the whole experience with them was so comforting and pleasant. Simon was especially amazing! Even when our dog bled in the room and we had to rush her to the emergency vet, they got the room clean and were kind enough to not charge us for cleaning even after we offered. Their kindness was definitely needed and greatly appreciated, and we can't wait to come back and actually get to fully enjoy our stay! The rooms were so nice and breakfast was amazing, and to top it all off they were super accommodating to us being vegan!
We had a lovely Sunday lunch here with friends. As we are local to Nottingham we have not stayed here. The decor and atmosphere is refined but relaxed, especially for Sunday lunch which is family friendly. Service is efficient and food delicious. Would strongly recommend the partridge. Bloody Mary's were very special tooService: 4/5

Wonderful hotel with first class friendly service. Great good both evening meal and breakfast. Rooms are not large which is usual for city centre hotel and its a great location. The rooms were clean and nice and the garden room was worth it to have access outside and a patio area. What sets the hotel apart was the truly outstanding helpfulness and friendly nature of every single one of the staff at every stage. Congratulations and thank you.
Really impressed with this place. Modern nice decor and furniture. Lovely room and bathroom facility. Basket full of chocolate goodies and full fridge. Great outdoor communal seating area. Good breakfast where we saw lots of celeb photos. On site parking always a bonus and great staff. Would very much like to stay again. Rooms: Room 28 nice layout. Airey bathroom. Lovely nibble basket. Spent a great 2 nights at Harts last weekend . Adam , the manager and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant meal on both nights was superb. Nice touch to provide a half bottle of fresh milk in the room fridge for making tea. Wonderful location by the Park .Rooms: 5/5
