It's no longer called The Bank it's now O'Neill's smart but service is slow, even when the bars empty
Nice modern bar with a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly, drinks are good value for the location that it is.
Good food plenty of seating good service
An excellent pub with lots of real ales on tap! This pub is quite large with lots of tables and lots of food options - we didn't eat on this occasion though, just sampled a few of the real ales on offer! A nice quiet pub where you can talk to each other without shouting - always a winner with me!
Food is good service could do with improvement, ie keeping tables clear & clean, yet another pub chain using massive plates this is SO overrated! It doesn't show the food off any better it just makes what is actually quite a reasonable sized portion look mean and small!
One of the best meals we have had in a long time, could not find fault. Quite reasonably priced for a City Centre location. Other people sat near to us were impressed as well. Will try again next I am visiting Nottingham.
Waited far to long in a not very busy pub, children's lasagna came out burnt and had to be sent back- not sure how you burn lasagna in a microwave? Mixed grill was also black and over cooked- response was it's cooked on a flame grill ! Poor over cooked food and poor quality, poor response from staff when told about the burnt food !
This place is lovely friendly warm atmosphere. We like coming here for breakfast staff always polite and friendly... Food always comes very quickly cooked nicely... Thank you
Kids portions were bigger than the adults. And now mackerel that cost a bomb and was hardly anything on the plate. The chocolate pud was the only saving grace of this place food wise
This place is very cheap and you can say you get a little more than what you pay for. I came here for a party using their festive menu. I had turkey which was substandard but those who ordered steak seemed to have a nice dinner probably because it was cooked the freshest. I can't verify this but the turkey tasted like it was preprepared off site and the veg was very overcooked. Puddings were great and the inclusion of complimentary prosecco was very welcome. I had to accommodate a large group most of whom couldn't afford much more than what bank was charging so I would eat here again if in the same situation and make sure to order something cooked on site. Personally I would loosen the purse strings a little and eat somewhere else.
