Had great meal at golden temple mushroom rice, chicken vindaloo,aloogobi, and onion bhaji all 😋. Decor dated but full of charm!! Ps only open weekends.

We travelled from Weston super Mare to Bodmin to stay overnight. We have tasted Mr Barry's Cuisine before and were not disappointed in the slightest.. Mrs Barry was the head cook for the evening and the flavours were Devine. The best food to date we have ever tasted! If anyone wants to taste traditional curry then this is the place to try. Unbelievable that this should be as overlooked as it is. Mr Barri makes it clear that service will not be 5 star and yet that's the charm of the place. We felt at ease enough to open our own drinks and not wait to be waited on. The quality of the food more than makes up for any other shortcomings. The portions are generous too, we filled doggy bags with what we hadn't stuffed ourselves with and had a whole other meal out of it. Overall a very authentic Nepalese experience!
