Excellent location Close to bus and railway stations, Buckingham Palace, Thames, Big Ben, London Eye, grocery stores, pharmacies. Thank you very much for a clean and comfortable room, which has everything you need. Friendly and lovely staff. Possibility to leave your luggage before check-in. They also let us in earlier. Beautiful view from the window, quite tasty breakfast with excellent coffee! We will not even try to find another hotel and will recommend this hotel to all our friends!
I had an extremely satisfying stay at the Dover Hotel. Everything was great, very comfortable rooms, clean bedroom and bathroom, very nice breakfast and very friendly staff. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to London.Rooms: 5/5
Went for a few days away, booked this hotel for Central location, reception and breakfast staff friendly, breakfast cereal and toast and jams, juices and hot drinks to set you up for the day sightseeing, clean warm room, cleaners in everyday to make the beds, change towels top tea tray up, would stay again if in LondonRooms: 4/5
avoid this hotel at all costs ! we were a group travelling to London for 4 nights ...on our second day a girl from the group lost her cigarette case and I lost my wallet! All my credit cards , id, driven license and cash were in my wallet. Not only didn't they help out but also they acted like nothing happend! they gave me wrong police station number when they could just mention 999 for reporting my lose...The guy in the reception was really anxious!! 3 days after leaving the hotel my bank informed me that someone tried to withdraw money from my cards and at the same time dover hotel send me an email saying that "There was a problem with the payment method you provided at booking. To keep the reservation, you’ll need to contact the hotel and provide a valid payment method within 24 hours." Of course and i didn't try to make a new reservation there after all that so it's clear to me that someone stole our staff and tried to withdraw my money through booking! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE .... AVOID THAT HOTEL AT ALL COST !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Near to Victoria Station walking. Old building. Rooms are not like those on photos old furniture, maybe I was unlucky. Reception fair .. nice.
Stayed for one night with my 11 year old in this lovely hotel. Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful thank you for storing our bag before check in / after check out so we could wander without it!. We stayed in a twin bedroom with an en suite. It was basic but clean and comfortable and had towels, TV, fan and hot drink making facilities. Breakfast was cereal and toast which was fine and set us up for the day. Brilliant location too, I'd happily stay here again.
Room ok. Beds quite hard. Very warm inside. And lot of noices outside Did not clean our rooms when we asked for it. Hade to change beds ourself
My stay was perfect for a quick weekend in London! The staff was very friendly, the location was absolutely perfect and walking distance to a lot of attractions and large train station. The area was safe with a good amount of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!Rooms: 5/5
The Staff were really friendly and helpful with directions, how to get around and phone app recommendations. It helped a lot that we stored our luggage in their store room so that we could handle our stressful business for the day worry free. The Wi-Fi was fast, free and reliable. There were no elevators so you had to carry your luggage up the stairs so brace yourself especially if your luggage/s are heavy. The room areas were quite confusing at first especially if you had one on the top floor but we got the hang of it. The rooms were small and basic but that wasn’t a worry because they were kept nice and clean. The beds were comfortable having a wall mounted fan cooled us from the warm days we had especially after touring around for several hours of the day. Breakfast was basic with cereals, coffee and toast the Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very convenient because it was located walking distance from the coach and train station, it was nice and quiet too so we got to sleep fast and sound.
Rooms are small but room and en suite very clean and freshly decorated. Location good, just 10 mins from Victoria line. Breakfast basic toast and cereals but fine. Great for a short stay.Rooms: 5/5
