A normal train station that is served by c2c trains there is disabled access to platform 1 only getting to platform 2 you have to use the stairs. There is two entrances and exits at this station with both sides having ticket barriers. When I came here the station was quiet and the ticket office was closed with no staff around the two platforms are long.
A brilliant station staffed by friendly welcoming people. Decent cafe, toilets and waiting area on London platform. It could do with another ticket machine as it can be quite busy in the mornings and desperately needs a few specific upgrades - disabled / pram access on the Shoebury-bound side and the bridge over the tracks is very tatty / a pigeon trap.
The staff are less helpful than the automated machine that I usually get my tickets from. The entire company should be ashamed.
The London bound platform is easily accessible by wheelchair and has toilet facilities and a snack bar. The Shoeburyness bound platform is stair access only so far as l can see, and has no facilities.
Very quiet station. People of this area are very polite and gentle. But there is no step free access in countryside platform.
