No staff whatsoever, all gates open and people going in and out as they please. Like most of their stations, shabbily manned, abysmal service yet the fares are astronomical. Shame in them.  Update: 17/06/22  Hottest day of the year, thousands of people on the beach having a good time. You also tell us to carry a bottle of water with is in the hot weather. So I get to the station and there are delays 16;50 pm. I am waiting and drinking water like you advise BUT you have closed all the toilets? That is insane. Children, vulnerable people, the elderly, the I'll, need to use a toilet in this weather. That is just evil and pure nastiness, no thought for anything other than saving a few quid in shutting off vital services.

Nice but small beach with a train station literally next to it.

Excellent. Another train missed because there is only one machine working and no ticket staff. But they do have a security guard to double make sure you miss your train. It would be excellent to get priorities right and help people get their trains..

Lovely beach views on sunny days with the open top bus taking you to Leigh or Southend and back in summer months and the majority of trains are on time, could have a couple more facilities but overall its a nice station

Beach is very clean and is less busy than southend great space to do loads of activities

Great beach plenty of space and lots of cafes to choose from of you're hungry/thirsty
