A normal train station that is served by c2c trains this station has toilets available on platform 1. There is a exit and entrance on both platforms with ticket barriers both with disabled access. The platforms are long and the station was clean. There is a waiting area on platform 1.
A superb customer friendly station. Its ticket office looks like a corporate reception desk. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It was hard to believe that washroom facilities are in a train station. Amazing washroom.nPeople of this area also looks nice and helpful. Its the best station in all c2c station.
Not enough ticket machines especially as sometimes there isn't a member of staff selling tickets. The old British Rail customer service ethos overlaid with the profit motive of a private company operating in a monopoly.
Usually quite a quiet station and staff are quite nice too. Ticket prices are a little expensive but that has nothing to do with the train station’s problem.
Rude ticket staff don't want to do their job. No customer service training.
