Proper Grand Hotel. Full of period decor. Very clean and well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ideal location to explore the local shops & bars. Good value accommodation.....and there is a bath !!! Just one note of caution, the rooms are not like they look in the pictures. The small is small and the superior isn't.

Currently on a 4 day course at the hotel. Room we are using is FREEZING cold. Heating doesn't exist. Hotel provided 2 tiny portable radiators that are useless. Not impressed, at all. Not even so much as the offer of a hot drink. Sitting in gloves, scarves, hats and coats. Not satisfactory given the outside air temp.

Amazing hotel with amazing features. It was definitely luxurious hotel in the past but now it is a 3 star place with affordable prices. Great breakfast and friendly staff, additional parking fee applies but it is only 10 for the night so no biggie. Lack of hot water under shower is a bit annoying especially when there is one in the tap.

Been at Newcastle for first time, what can I said, for price, quality, comfort, in a nice area, with the Center in less than 10 minutes walking, for me was perfect! The staff is lovely, kind and always willing to help. I’ll be back soon!

Straightforward checked in , lovely rooms . Only downside was the heating controls in the room didn't seem to work on the radiators so they couldn't be changed and although breakfast was included in the price , no mention of this from the staff . I did see that some takeout breakfasts were being put on the reception during my checkout
