The hotel features 53 well-appointed bedrooms, including 18 superior en-suite rooms . All our 12 standard doubles, 15 twins and 8 triples have en-suite bathrooms and modern amenities. In Nov 2011 the hotel was refurbished and extended with 18 Superior room, a new reception area, lobby and breakfast dining room. Really great location for someone that's not all that confident driving in and around cities. Plenty of parking to be had and easy enough to sort that out by entering details at reception. Both the room and other areas of the hotel were very clean. My only criticism which is a me thing is the beds in a double room being singles, if they could have been those Three Quarter beds bigger than a single small than a double that'd have been grand. I'd stay again just for those pillows, comfiest pillows I've ever had the joy and fortune of laying my head upon.
I booked months prior and spent £60 for a night. Short walk from the city centre and concert venue I was there for. Staff were lovely and I never had an issue with keycards which always seems to happen at other hotels. Hotel is locked at night and you give information to be given entry. I felt very safe. The area is quiet and my room was lovely - small but what I knew I was paying for. Safety: Hotel is locked at night and you can enter when they confirm your booking. Walkability: Ten minute walk to city center and utilita arena. Food & drinks: Drinks can be ordered at reception and a grab and go breakfast is available at reception each morning.
Spacious, clean and tidy room. The staff were very helpful and kind. There was Iron, hair dryer and small desk. The bathroom has good space, very hot water and clean. The central metro and train station was 13 m walking away and the bus stop is on the door of the hotel. Regarding the breakfast you can see the attached photo. The room lacks safe, coffee machine which is better if was there.
Excellent hotel for the money. Great power shower in the morning nice continental brekky included. Just worth it . Recommended and I will be booking againRooms: 4/5
Well equipped rooms with iron and ironing board plus fan if you need it.fantastic shower and toiletries very comfortable bed lots of storage space for clothes. Tea/coffee kettle in room,snacks from reception very cheerful and friendly staff.Rooms: 5/5
Does what it says on the tin,big very clean room as a base ,breakfast in a bag was enough to set you up till lunchtime, reception staff ,bright and bubbly ,big carpark ,pub with atmosphere just across the road,would use again and again...Rooms: 5/5
Stayed for two nights heading to Scotland so perfect half way point and a day tour round Newcastle city. The hotel itself was ok, but perfect for a few days rest. The bathroom needs updating however it is a good size, tidy and clean room which is very important. There is an iron, board and fan in the room. The view is not the best. There is a bus round the corner to catch in town however we pretty much walk to town which you don't miss important view. The only downside is the breakfast which is croissants, yogurt, brand orange juice when I'm expected a cooked breakfast : but hey ho never mind
Toilet was clean. Receptionist was helpful. Check-in was smooth and quick. Quiet place. Warm inside - heaters in the corridor. Located close to the city centre. Toilet wash basin was old style. Didn't expect a twin bed when I had booked a single person room. Room carpet needed more cleaning around the skirting. "Breakfast packet" was only veg and no non-veg, and not sufficient. Free WiFi was useless. Food & drinks: Please note that, breakfast is not like what is shown in the pictures, perhaps pictures are very old. Rooms Inn gave a packet containing the below for breakfast and nothing else : Chocolate bap Orange juice Yogurt Granola
Cheap and cheerful. Great spot . Very good value room wasn't plush but ok Would stay there again. Rooms: Ok not luxury. Walkability: 15-20 mins walk to city. Also a frequent bus service very close by.
This is a wonderful hotel just a hop skip and a jump from the city centre. I enjoyed the comfy spacious room and bed. Receptionist Richard was really friendly and helpful.Rooms: 5/5
