A great place for all Scout troops. We stayed in a tiny, fenced kind of village with 2 huts, an open kitchen and picnic area and a campfire place. The toilets are a bit far from that place but it's still ok. Bus no 10 takes you directly to the city centre of Edinburgh and it takes about 45 mins to get there. From the Bonaly SC you can start hiking and spend endless hours in the mountains without any need of commuting. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful.

A beautiful scout centre located right next to Edinburgh. However, the staff of the scout centre decided to give consent to the gospel church to stay on this camp site and make music all day long for 3 days without informing the other guests and doing something about the noise. A scout centre is not the right place for events like this. Besides this, the scout centre will be a wonderful place to stay if you want to visit Edinburgh having good facilities.
Fantastic Scout facility. Well presented, friendly staff and great weather too!
Fantastic camping experience. Will miss this place and the people I met fondly.
