This place never fails, staff are lovely and well trained, dogs are welcome, coffee is excellent always made by someone who knows what they are doing. The food is fantastic, well thought out and seasonal, if you have intelligent taste buds that want something more than baked beans and a cheap sausage you will be excited by the menu everytime you visit. Everything is reasonably priced, in short this is by far the best cafe in hay. They have made the effort and it has paid off we have been going for years and have never been disappointed.

A beautiful bookshop in a wonderful building. Has two floors selling both new and secondhand books. There's also a cafe which serves great food, and is set in a beautifully bright spacious area towards the back. Also houses a fantastic cinema.

Wonderful selection of books. Browsers are made most welcome. Excellent cafe if you need a wee break.

Quite possibly my favourite book shop, they have every category of book imaginable. 3 floors of books. Amazing.

My wife and I really enjoy bookshops. Even in the amazing Hay on Wye which is crammed with excellent bookshops Booth's is the best. I think that makes it the best I've ever been to. I did struggle to find some low brow books that I was after but other than that it cannot be beaten.
