Nice spacious car park. Machines are a little tricky for first time users. Toilets are by the exit next to the shops, 30p to use, they take cash and card. As do the machines in the car park. Could do with more than 4 hours in this town if your a bookworm! I had to go back and add more time.nEnjoy x

Packed, first time I have not been able to leave my car here in a lifetime of visiting the area. I found the parking in the town really poor given that it is such a sought after day out.

Parking of motorhomes and campervans allowed here with some dedicated bays for overnight stop. No facilities other than local public toilet adjacent to carpark which was shut overnight during our visit at 50p entry. Large field at the rear that is good for dog walkers although no dog waste bins spotted. £7 over 4 hours, but free between 18:00 & 08:00. Visited early September Saturday and was very very busy !

Good carpark and right by the town. The ticket machine was working this time, so could actually park there. Does need an upgrade with the machines.

Here for leisure trip in to Wales. Carpark it's self is in a great location, it's only a short walk into the town of Hay-on-Wye and all it offers.nThere were spaces, but they were filling up fast. I am unsure of other parking availability in the town.nThe cost at about a £1 an hour seemed reasonable, although I do not know how this compares to the local area. It is a lot more to park where I live.nThe infernal machines need scrapping, and scrapping fast.nThere are only two machines in this large carpark, the queues to use the machines soon built up.nOne of the machines was not taking card payments we should be grateful that the other one did take card payment, or we would have returned back to base, and the town would have lost our hard earned money.nThe abominations that are the conduit to pay are over complicated, to many button presses to gain a ticket and heaven forbid you make an error, you'll have to start again.nThe whole thing needs dragging into the 21st century with the ability to pay via an App. You need more machines, OR just make them free, and be done with it.
