Wow — just wow. The team at The Globe were absolutely amazing. Mary and the team went above and beyond in every possible way to make our wedding day so special. From the very first enquiry to the moment we left on our wedding night, they were incredible. Every little detail was exactly how we’d imagined it, even when the Welsh weather decided to do its own thing!nnThe venue itself was everything we could have wished for. Our indoor ceremony was packed with love and laughter, the meal was absolutely delicious the chef is incredible!, and the evening flowed perfectly into a fun evening celebration. The dance floor was packed!!!nnThe outdoor space was ideal — it gave everyone a lovely area to mingle before the meal and later became such a beautiful spot in the evening, especially under the festoon lights for those taking a breather from the dance floor. It created exactly the vibe we wanted.nnI’ll always recommend The Globe — and especially the wonderful team. To anyone planning their wedding - you honestly won’t regret it!
We got married at The Globe in September and it was an amazing venue for our big day.nnFrom enquiring about availability all the way up to the big day, Mary couldn't do enough to help us. The whole team at The Globe on the day helped the day run so smoothly, thank you!nnIf you're looking for a beautiful venue that allows you to add personal touches, I would 100% recommend The Globe. We wish we could do the day all over again.
This review is purely about the restaurant. The gent who served us was very polite and did his best to accommodate. We ordered 3 burgers and fries and 2 beers which came to over £80. The food was definitely fresh but I would say definitely not worth the money that was charged. I have paid less in the center of London for a burger and fries which were exceptional. Having received the order which was incorrect then being told that some of the ingredients were missing I feel should have been expressed when placing the order as this could have been changed or cancelled.
The staff here are amazing always willing to help. Then the food is even better. I had the burger called little Kev which I didn’t think egg chicken and a burger would go together. But the chef over heard and convinced me to keep the egg in. I was pleasantly surprised how well they do go together. We will definitely be going back again.
Despite the fact that id only planned to come in with my friend for a drink and a side, the sight of such gorgeous burgers and such a charming chef COMPELLED me to go all out. nothing could have prepared me for the absolute brick of brie that came in my chicken burger so trust me when i say guys, you get value for money, and i left feeling like a beached orcha in a Seaworld. Our server Ro went above and beyond, made us feel welcome and never left us wanting for anything besides MORE engaging chit chat. Truly worth the visit.
