We were traveling with teens kids, and chose this 2 bedroom suite for it's bed configuration. There is a room with a double size bed and an en suite with a shower, another room with a double size bed, and a pull out sofa in the living area that share a hall bath with a shower. We all had our own space which is great after a transatlantic flight. The AC worked great even mid summer. The breakfast area was a bit of a madhouse, but pretty well managed. Lots of options to eat. We were able to walk to an outstanding asian restaurant down the road, and the Italian place across the street was also fantastic. Next door is a large Tesco, no need to shop in the expensive shop in the lobby. Noise in the room was not an issue for us, and we never had to wait long for the elevator. The bag storage is huge, and they were very kind to store all our luggage after our checkout so that we could explore before leaving for the cruise port. The location is nice, but not nearby to tourist attractions. We went with this spot due to the fact that it had three separate beds, so it was great for our needs. Walkability: Safe and very walkable neighborhood of London. Quick walk to shops and restaurants.
Rooms are nice. Kitchens are good and well equipped. A few challenges: 1 there are three desks for servicing customers at the reception. Too often there were three people behind those desks but they seemed only able to handle one customer. So two either did nothing or joined in the conversation with the solo customer. 2 Put a do not disturb sign on your door and the cleaning crew don’t give a damn. Every morning they stand outside the door talking, laughing and rustling plastic bags. Each day they knocked despite the do not disturb sign. 3 the elevators just don’t function well. I was staying on 6 and I’d see one of the two coming to 5, stopping and going back down while the other didn’t move. They have a “funny” poster inside the elevators about it preferring the journey to the destination and thanking us for our sense of humor. It wasnt amusing after the first day. If you know you have a problem Marriott, fix it. Don’t joke about the lack of customer support. Unfortunately this poster is indicative of this hotel’s approach to service. More for amusement than to actually serve.
Aligns to many reviews before me. The staff here is exceptionally great;friendly, quick to help/respond. I was able to make an early check-in Marriott Platinum. The breakfast is great and the rooms are well maintained. There are 3 Marriott nearby but I picked after reading reviews. Great option if u are with family and visiting spots nearby. It is also quietly tucked in from near busy roads Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast
Rooms clean and very quiet. Beds comfortable. Complete breakfast. Beyond delicious with avocado toast, spring rolls, fresh breads, meats eggs, yogurt pastries tea coffee milk and juice. Polite service workers especially Afroza. Will definitely stay here again when in LondonRooms: 5/5
Always try to stay at Marriott when traveling and usually pick Residence Inn and this location was great! Very close to train stations and shopping. Some food locations close by. The staff is very nice and attentive. I had to write back to ask them to check for something I thought I lost and they responded quickly. We needed a 2 bedroom suite and that was confirmed - the accommodations are smaller in comparison to the US but just as nice and you figure out that you can get by with less -: I would definitely stay here again when in London.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the nearest tube station, which made getting around the city super convenient. There’s also a TESCO supermarket nearby, which was very handy. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from each morning. One thing to note for those coming from the US—this Residence Inn is smaller compared to what you might be used to in the States, but it was still comfortable and well-appointed. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its location, service, and amenities! Rooms: Good rooms with a kitchen Nearby activities: Victoria and Albert museum, National History Museum Walkability: 10 minutes to the underground station. Plus two bus stops nearby. Food & drinks: Free breakfast and daily happy hour
Just spent 10 nights here. Compared to American hotels, the rooms are small. But compared to European hotels, the room are spacious. We booked here because of the sofa bed in the living room/kitchen. It is hard to find a European hotel that fits 3 people. It is close to Earl’s Court tube station, but it is a decent 12 minute walk. Earl’s Court has an entrance on Earl’s Court road which is step free, and also Warwick, which has stairs. But walking on Warwick is easier because it is far less busy vs Earl’s Court. You will still end up walking farther in the station to get to the platforms. The breakfast is good, but monotonous because it is the same everyday. The staff is obviously well trained because they are all exceedingly polite. The free washing machines and dryers is a surprise. But be prepared for long waits if you go at night. Early afternoon or during the day is fine. We were surprised at how quiet the rooms were, except for the corridor.
Hotel stay was excellent. The rooms are relatively large for a European Hotel. The check in process was a bit chaotic since there was an influx of guest all checking in at once but Sonia and Patrik displayed excellent costumer service. They were able to get us all in our rooms as quickly as possible and made the entire process super smooth. The rooms were clean and all the amenities were great. Easy process overall five out of five.
The hotel service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming specially Mewral, attentive, and eager to assist with every request. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the concierge team went above and beyond to provide local recommendations and ensure my stay was comfortable. Housekeeping maintained the room immaculately, while room service was prompt and offered a wide variety of delicious options. Every interaction felt personalized, and the staff’s professionalism and warmth made me feel truly valued as a guest. I would highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service.
The staff, service, breakfast is superb. The rooms are a bit small. The front desk is extremely helpful. We stayed at the hotel for almost two weeks and a small problem made them upgrade us to the suite , which is fabulous. I think the location isn’t excellent but not bad either. Earl’s Court station is a 10/15 min walk. Loads of interesting eateries there. Yes I next door to hotel is a huge huge boon. The management needs to check on the air conditioning, I felt. It was a bit unresponsive to settings we tried to make. In all likelihood, I would like to stay here again . Rooms: Too tight, bathrooms are very small. Nearby activities: Not too many restaurants. Tesco is next door. Fifteen minutes walk away lovely eateries. Safety: So far so good Walkability: Acceptable. Nice neighbourhood Food & drinks: Good breakfast. Some variations may be a good idea. Noteworthy details: Staff very helpful and responsive
