I had a great stay at Hilton Olympia. Service was friendly from check in to dinner, breakfast and then check out, which was friendly and consistent. Room was up to newer Hilton brand, which I like. Not sure if there are some older rooms, based on other reviews, but I was given a newer one. The bar area and perks for Hilton Diamond members really stood out and would make me stay again for sure. Such friendly service and extras, in lieu of their being no executive lounge. Breakfast was great. Was busy so recommend get in early! Overall I would happily stay here again and really enjoyed my time here.
The rooms are in desperate need of some renovation. Toilet flushing system in most rooms don’t work properly, carpet seems dirty and please, add some handsoap and a toilet brush to your bathrooms… Almost every hotel has those standard things! The hallways and rooms smell awful, It’s like a mix of food and old carpet I’m smelling. I can’t complain about the service though! They’re always very friendly and helpful, especially the floor manager in who’s responsible for the dining area. She’s so sweet and kind! I can surely recommend you to eat at the hotel! The food tastes amazingly good!
My first experience about this hotel was on arrival the gentleman at front of house at reception in my opinion should not be greeting people. First impressions count as we approached reception he just looked over his glasses at my husband and I & then carried on about his business. No smile No good afternoon he didn't even say hello. We certainly don't want to be treated like Royalty we just would like to be acknowledged on arrival. I totally understand if you're in the middle of something which you need to finish I get that but just say... Hello bear with me I'll be with you in two minutes after all we are paying guests!! Luckily a lovely young lady who had just became free beckoned us over with a lovely smile That's all it takes is a smile & to greet your paying guests with a warm welcome which this lovely young lady did. The two stars we have given go to the lady at reception & the lovely staff at breakfast.
Wonderful hotel. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and an eagerness to serve. The staff is very kind and gracious. The room was clean and very comfortable. Small, but we didn’t come to hang out in bed which was like a cloud. The restaurant/bar staff is amazing and aims to please. The location is perfect, and close to train stations Olympia and High Street. Wonderful pubs nearby with great food. Hand and Flower, Warwick Arms. Tesco superstore is also close by. Sultan at the front desk is a full service hotelier. He arranged a taxi, called us when it arrived, and fetched it for us. This is highly recommended hidden gem in Kensington.
I stayed at the Holland Hotel London Olympia for seven days. The hotel was very clean, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. However, I encountered an issue with the air conditioning, which was not addressed promptly. Unfortunately, I had to stay in the room for two days in very hot weather. On the second day, a portable air conditioner was provided, but it did not solve the problem. However, I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff member, Suardi, who was very helpful and hospitable in resolving the issue. Thanks to him, my stay improved, and I had a better overall experience. I greatly appreciate his efforts in making my stay more comfortable.
I'll be honest, if I come back this way I won't be staying here again. The staff were amazing, I can't fault them at all. The room though, was dated, hot and the only window went to an internal space with something that made a constant loud humming noise, even with the window closed. I'd also recommend not having the breakfast here unless you get a very good deal on it. We paid nearly £50 for two of us and the English breakfast items were less than luke warm.
Amazing service. Receptionist Michele and Staff Basim were very friendly and helpful. They were kind with late checkouts and helped us with our luggage and stored our ten suitcases.Rooms: 5/5
Most terrible hotel I ever visited. Rooms are old with terrible old carpets. When we entered the room it smelled of desinfection and chemicals so bad. Then there was noise from a machine outside the room maybe the air conditioning?. We had this terrible sound all the time. We couldn’t sleep. Never again Hilton !!Rooms: 1/5
Only used the car park for a local advent very small underground car park. Cost £30 for 5 hours. The hotel looked clean for the little bit I saw. So unfortunately I can't give a proper review.Service: 3/5
Hello, To the hotel manager, I have just checked in at around 7.00 am today. I was woken up by drilling right above my room at 8.00 am. Are you serious ? FYI, you need to learn basics. Especially your maintenance manager. How juvenile can he be to start work at 8.00 am ? Let’s take you back to the basics of hotel industry. If there is drilling work scheduled, you MUST cordon off the rooms around it and NOT sell them, so that the people who have paid to be here, don’t get disturbed. Please educate your everyone especially your managers. These are basics, for heavens sake. The work literally started at 8.00 am and you have no spare rooms to give away because it is that early in the morning ? This is absolutely pathetic and the place is a joke. No wonder your property is hated the most around. Shut the place if you cannot run it well. I am disappointed and upset that because of that noise which ran for more than an hour, I was unable to sleep. Shame on you all.
