Lovely hill top pud, great Views, with cricket pitch on the side. Plenty of areas for families or quiet corners for a meal and a chat. Food really good... would recommend the duct, when it's on the menu. Well worth a visit.
Nice country pub. Cask ales available. Good food. Reasonable prices. Open coal fires. Friendly staff. Also has a cricket field/pitch. Beautiful views. On a clear day you can see out to Manchester.
Friendly staff and good home-made leek & potato soup.
Dog friendly inside and out also child friendly. Good range of drinks. Will return to sample the food.
