Nice little town. Clean, tidy and quiet. And now, they've got their own prestigious theatre - The Shakespeare Playhouse.
Once the ticket office is closed there's nowhere inside to wait and a single ticket machine to use.

Prescot train station has a car park that is uneven & holey but certainly well used & trying to get a parking space at times is a complete nightmare! If you are heading towards Liverpool then you will have to climb a lot of stairs to go over the metal bridge before descending on the opposite platform, which is horrendous, especially if you have a pram or have any mobility issues. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, albeit maybe 2 years away but to coincide with the Shakespeare Theatre the station is getting a makeover, which is long overdue!
