We had such a lovely stay at the Premiere Inn Southsea. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with such a lovely welcome and great recommendations for the local area. The staff throughout our stay were all very friendly and helpful. The room was great, had everything we needed and very clean and quiet. AC worked well and nice to be able to open the window a little bit for fresh air. Parking onsite was great and it was just a short walk into the town. Would definitely stay again.
It's in a good location close to the sea and amusement park. The breakfast was very nice with choices to pick from. However, the bathroom and the room smelled unpleasant and the room wasn't ready when we checked in at 4 so we had to wait 30 mins. There is also little soundproofing so we could hear the people above walking at night.
You have to pay parking, £7 per 24hrs, but I got there Friday about 9:30pm, left Sunday at about 2pm, £20, so not sure when the countdown started. Room I had was perfectly fine, the bed was quite firm for me, I didn't sleep well the first night! But better the second due to being so tired from walking around the town and local area. Would definitely stay again...
had a lovely stay here with my family and partner for a few days in one of the premium rooms. rooms were lovely and well fitted with good amenities, we had a lovely sea facing view from which we could watch the ferries, and it was lovely and quiet. would recommend!
Dinner was cold and slopped on the the plate...fish,chips and mushy peas....the bread was hard as is left out all day and the butter was off. Breakfast was very nice though. The chair in the bedroom was very badly stained. There was scaffolding outside the hotel so it was very unappealing. The lift was broken and I'm disabled so I had to struggle up two flights of stairs. The bar closed at 10pm too early and there were quite a few drunk and rowdy people in the bar area where we had to eat. The bathroom fan was extremely loud so when my husband got up to use the loo in the night it woke me up. All in all a very unpleasant stay.
