My partner and I have just returned, along with 2 other family members, from two wonderful nights at Cavendish Lodge. Jean and John were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They could not do enough for us during our stay in their lovely home and accommodated anything we wanted. We stayed in The Glamour Room which was fabulous. Breakfast was awesome too - thanks so much Jean - I will always remember my delicious mushrooms on toast which you cooked especially for me. When we're next in the area we'll definitely be giving you a call. I would recommend Cavendish Lodge 100% to anyone wanting a relaxed, comfortable and happy stay in this location. Thank you again.
Cavendish Lodge was an excellent choice as it was within walking distance from most Portsmouth attractions Aquarium, HMS Victory, Mary Rose Museum..etc . The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was huge. There is tea and coffee in the room. Free parking on the roadside. Lovely breakfast and the host was very nice and helpful. We will recommend Cavendish Lodge to our friends and we'll stay there again in the future. Marius & Maria
Stayed here a few times on business as there is no better in Portsmouth. Character property, beautifully presented; central to everything Portsmouth has to offer - all in walking distance; a breakfast selection to suit all tastes, including the best poached eggs ever. And finally the hosts: kind, accommodating, bending over backwards to make your stay perfect. 2 beautiful people whom I have grown to love and now consider my friends. The only place to stay in Portsmouth.
I had a wonderful stay there. From the warm welcome to the beautiful "Glamour Room", that was meticulously clean and decorated with great attention to detail, it was all perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast freshly made after my wishes and the Lodge is placed at very close distance to the Wedgewood Rooms which is very nice for people who want to attend a concert there. I loved staying there and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. You're not gonna be disappointed.
my sister and I stayed at Cavendish Lodge for a few days two weeks ago , we would like to say we were very impressed, room was clean and beautiful . very nice bathroom, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very nice and helpful and we would stay there again.
