Incredible place. Really feel the age of the venue everywhere we went. Impressive choice of craft ales and beers and the staff were very knowledgeable of each and helped us out with selecting our order.

The best part about this pub was meeting Alex, a lovely local fellow who was full of interesting information. The craft beer was also very good ;

Fab quirky pub, typical shambles. Good selection of drinks and one of the cleanest pubs around, very good with covid rules.

Staff were very friendly the beer was excellent worth a visit

Really cool venue, nice atmosphere and aesthetic. Good range of interesting beers and ciders with friendly service. Even their currently limited menu was a good spread. Looking forward to visiting again when the full menu is returned

Been coming here for years, even though york is fairly quiet at the moment the staff always make you feel welcome, also enjoyed our impromptu quiz lol keep up the good work girls x
