The last of the York Brewery pubs and this one serves food. The beer is as you'd expect, really well kept and served. This seems to have a few more locals and the bartenders know the beers, recommending a Hazlenut mild which was wonderful.
Great pub to try a variety of pints. The bartenders were fun and knowledgable. Try the traditional ciders as they are incredible. You can find cask or carbonated beer here. It is also full of history as one of the oldest pubs in York.
Plenty of good casks ale amid a friendly atmosphere, so go.
A great pub, centrally located on King's Square. Love the York Brewery and their pubs in the city, always worth one's patronage and Guzzler is a nice pint. Good atmosphere, good beer, nice to plonk yourself down in here after a bit of shopping. Happy slurping.
Great food, great beer, great staff. Set in a lovely part of Barley, Lancashire. You can even stay there to, I haven't because I live in Bury.
Lovely old school little pub with a bug history. Apparently very haunted and has uneven floors which is brilliant. Good beer and nice food.
Great atmosphere right in the centre of town with local breweries on tap and a view into the square. Beer was excellent but my diet Coke was flat as a pancake.
Nice selection of yorkshire brewery ales, my type of pub. Nothing fancy here, just the way I like it. Used to be a CAMRA discount but been in tonight and no longer!!
