"The Piccadilly Cinema Leicester opened in 2000, being a pioneer in showing all the new major Blockbuster releases with a variety of languages. Piccadilly Cinema Leicester has been an immensely popular cinema as the first choice for moviegoers all over the Midlands. Piccadilly Cinema is a 7 Screen, family friendly Cinema. It is housed in the former North Evington Working Mens Club & Institute building which probably dates from the 1910’s and is located on the corner of Green Lane Road and Mornington Street."

Changing 3 stars to 1, When I was watching Avatar 2 On Release Day This Theatre Was Very Cold the didn't put the heating on. I had to watch the movie with my jacket and gloves on. After completing 70% of the film they started to heat the theatre. it was -3° Celsius Outside that time.
Well... it needs modernising and investment. Staff are friendly, though, hence 3 stars. Otherwise, I wouldn't even rate it. Tight aged seats and damp everywhere. They do show movies that have lapsed other cinemas, which is a bonus. Could be made into something great!
Great local cinema. I have been going there since a young boy. Over 40 years later still enjoying the occasional English movie. Well worth the nostalgia.
I went there with my grandma and it was very stinky, there was ice cream under the seat, and when I first went couple years ago there was only one staff member and he just put on different outfits and worked every job there. Crapiest cinema ever
They have to make fire exit light bit low because it's too dark when the lights off. Haveing problem in eyes .
I booked tickets for my parents for a movie using my card. I do not live in the same city. When I finished booking, it asked me to bring the same debit card and reference to get tickets, which they won't have access to. I called the phone number to speak to customer service, which was continuously diverted to the O2 messaging service. I messaged on Facebook, and the messages were read immediately, but there was no response. I have emailed now, and not sure if I will ever get my refund or reply. No accessibility to customer service is the worst thing a business can offer.
Poor cleanliness. Rather stinky seats. Poor ambience. No parking facility.. Went to a cinema first time in last 8 years, a huge disappointment.
Not as bad as some of the recent reviews suggest. Staff were fine, sound and picture were fine. Didn’t feel like it was going to collapse on us. Maybe people are expecting £14 reclining seats for £7.50? Comfier and roomier than standard Cineworld seats. Would go again.
One of our go to places to watch Indian movies.. Parking is a problem, so may want to get there earlier to find a street spot. Also since there isn't seat allocated, helps being there early to get a preferred seat and location.
Worst theatre ever visited in UK. No parking. No seat numbering. Rules are followed strictly prohibiting to take toddlers food. BUT!!! Toddlers, Kids and children are allowed for 18 rated movies Wow. Coming to the screens, the worst ever. My village back in my country has Dolby The speakers in the screens are worn out and can feel that noise of the broken speaker crystal clear . BTW. BTW. BTW Unfortunately if you have had to visit and watch movie there don’t look up at the ceiling. That’s so scared and not sure when it may fall . And.. Lights … Some distracting Green and red lights are always on and this irritates a lot. Except Nachos no food stuff. Pepsi just £4. Popcorn £4 Half the size compared to other theatres. Damn expensive. Anyhow wonderful experience going back to those olden days watching films in a xxxty theatres. If you would like to experience that please give a try . All the best for your patience.
